Our Society's focus is supporting gem and mineral collectors and enthusiasts in the greater Racine, Wisconsin area.
Our Mission:
To stimulate interest and promote the advancement of science of geology for the membership and the communities of the membership, to encourage the professional and social relationship of members and to provide a meeting for the presentation and discussion of subjects of mutual interest.
We are open to both Adults and Children.
Regular monthly meetings are held on the Second Thursday of each month, at the St Michael's Church basement, except for June when we have our picnic, July no meeting at all and August ( no regular meeting but we have a swap/sale).
In August we hold our Club Sale/Swap and in November we host our Annual Show.
Location of our monthly meetings is :
St Michael’s Episcopal Church - 4701 Erie Street, Racine WI at 7:00PM.
Doors are open after 6:40. Visitors are welcome to our meetings before deciding to join our organization.
During winter storms any cancellations will be announced on the local radio station. WRJN 1400 AM Radio
December is our Christmas Party. Bring a dish to pass . EARLY Starting time : Doors open at 6 and eating at 6:30 PM. If you want to participate in the gift exchange , bring a wrapped gift with value of five dollars.
